July 5th, 2009-Dorthey Knight, Chairperson and Founder, We Dare to Defend
I was thinking just the other day about the fact that in many ways I am not an approved person. I am an overweight, white female with 5 children, one husband whom I adore and no real “sob” stories to talk about. I am a Christian and actively involved in church and family and community. For my little neck of the woods that makes me a pretty average person. All that said, I am one of the people who took it upon themselves to organize and champion the TEA PARTY protests/rally’s. I have decided that I do dare to defend the Constitution of the United States of America, and all that it stands for. I am for small government, and big liberty, and I am using this web blog to expound on my ideas. You are welcome to join me, pass me along, or laugh at me.
Hello Dorthey; I don’t have much to offer you or your cause, but I was invited here by the man you adore most. I would like to say that I am impressed with what you have done at this site and I don’t believe you when you say you are not a good organizer. My job keeps me busy trying to make a living and pay the bills, but I do have opinions about things that I can’t share with most people. How is your family? We just had an addition to ours.
